So, who is Claire Macdonald?
I’m a published illustrator with 8 years experience, and I’m sure you’ve heard it before, but art is my absolute passion. I’ve loved drawing ever since I was a nipper, so you can be confident I take great pride in my work and will deliver your projects to the highest quality.
What do I offer?
High quality , detailed watercolour illustrations, specialising in wildlife/ natural subject matter, but am equally at home delivering humorous greetings cards and cartoons. I always meet my deadlines, and my services are very competitively priced, whatever your budget.
What experience do I have?
I trained as an illustrator at NEWI back in 2000, graduating with a Ba (Hons) in Illustration, with an OCN qualification in PhotoShop design. I’ve provided illustrations for a range of clients, with projects including black and white illustrations for a series of medical books and journals, logo design, magazine illustration, stand design and most recently a cartoon for the book “How to brand your business” by James Hammond as part of the Sunday Times series.
In addition to my freelance illustration work, I also work as a Marketing manager for a large graphics software company, working with the design team to ensure high quality , customer focused graphic design and direct mail campaigns.
